What time do you chaps usually arrive at Jeans to sign in?
-
Dear Bob
Just after 6.30.(sun rise)
There is a lot to get done and with the evenings drawing in, we always get going early.
Some of us travel down the night before and sleep in the layby. That way you can beat the sunday morning traffic and avoid the rememberance day parades in the villages.
See you there Bob

I will start hitching a ride now and should get there for saturday night then I will sleep in a ditch untill dawn and thence start breaking rocks. I'm not afraid of hard graft!! Thanks Jean, I might have known that I would get that kind of response from the rat bags!

The best part of the day was when the Int.. Inte.. Oh what is the word? Oh yes, interlude for lunch came. Thank you Jean. Also trying to fathom out the Coventry Victor/ Zundapp engine. It did look a bit like a BMW though. Both German made.
Oh yes, Bobs' car, the Inter, fabulous restoration, very impressed mate. Cor! that was wet and col under the tunnel. Squeek-squeek.

Thanks Rob. There is still a space reserved for the Gordon so dont keep us all waiting too long! Boy was that ditch cold, and rat infested too, I'm going to bring my own cardboard box next time!
