Title: Salmson cycle car
Post by: marcus on May 25, 2009, 08:33:08 PM
Went down to Camber this week end and on Sunday we were just crossing the main road to get to the beach and saw a lovely sky blue cycle car of 1920-30 age. It had a diagonal cross shape across the radiator grille, suggesting Salmson to me. It had a boat tail back but otherwise looked remarkably similar (apart from good nick) to the jalopy in the classic comedy film "Mr Hulot's Holiday" (Les Vacances de M. Hulot). I failed to get my camera in time, but lovely to see this nearly-micro on the roads, must be fairly rare
