Title: ICR website
Post by: Stuart Cyphus on September 02, 2009, 11:31:54 PM
With more than a little help from Tripourter of this very forum, following a chance meeting back at the Spring Beaulieu Autojumble, the Invalid Carriage Register, when not dashing up & down the country digging up old conveyances, has been working upon its very own website! The site now seems to be "live", so why not pop in & have a gawp. Construction work is still ongoing at the moment, but I hope to have it finished & looking presentable in the very near future (next few weeks?). Comments & suggestions much appriciated.....

Big thanks indeed to Colin for getting me up & running.  :-*

Dear Stuart

The web site is looking good. Will there be a page for the Elswick Envoy as well, and what about all the non british Invalid Carriages. It could also do with a link back to the home page.

Keep up the good work

Chris Thomas

:) This will be a great website and source of good reliable information when complete.  There still are a few spelling errors though to fix, Stuart.  Good job and keep adding and editing it.    Ian. :)

note: you will NEVER be "finished" with it.
it is an on-going project.

remove that "under construction" thing, websites and blogs are always under construction.

Hey Stuart, ICR site is looking grand.

If you (or any other rumcarists) are down at Beaulieu next week, I'll be taking the usual pile of eclectic obscurities (old bicycles, tricycles and cyclemotors) and i'll be on stalls 60 and 61 in the yellow field. The 1914 Warrick 3-wheeler Motor Carrier should be at Beaulieu too.

Sharing the stall with my old friend Ian (you don't know him, but he's a fellow Rumcar subscriber and also a schmitt owner).

I don't get to many shows these days, so I'd enjoy saying hello and especially meeting any of you I don't know to put faces to names.

Colin

Nice site very easy on the eye, I thought the choice of font had an air of Collin about it, I even like the soggy looking picture of Ac Cars Ltd, keep it up Stuart.
