I couldn't help but notice the two Nobel-like vehicles in the rear of this shot

The article says it is designed for the cold and icy conditions in Northern China, conditions in which 2 front wheels would be much better for steering, breaking and control, and also the very conditions in which batteries are at their worst. Quite pretty though.

It did occur to me that the next time I travel through China on my way to Mongolia I could stop off and road test a few of the new electric vehicles coming out of China, while I was there. The only problem is I am not planning to go that way for a few years. But when I do....

Dear Jean

I remember when I was last in China there was a law that said only Chinese nationals were allowed to drive on Chinese roads. This meant you could not hire a car without a driver. I had the same problem in India. So it may be easier to wait until one comes to the UK.

 Hmm, now where have I seen this sort of thing before. Ah yes, Jory Squibb's Moonbeam from America & featured in RCN 97. Have the Chineese been pinching other folks ideas again?....

Oh Yes, I thought it looked familiar! The Chinese should have stuck with this wheel plan.

There was a 50s or 60s Hungarian micro (in Julian Nowill's book?) which had a similar roof shape and pivot point.

Have you never noticed Bob will unexpectedly break into the main chorus of a "Modern Major General" or the "Micardo" and he had to marry his lady wife because her maiden name was Sullivan.

It was called for years Gilberts disease which sounds like its contagious [it isnt] , then the Americans bless em started calling it syndrome. Now you lot are breaking into operetta maybe we should have stuck with disease!
