Personally I couldn't care if they made ten times that, but all Marques loose their lustre once popularised in this manner. Take Cobras in the 80's, now all you see is row upon row of recreations. The same goes for the thrill of riding in a microcar, soon even genuine Peels will be deemed recreations by the uninformed. The whole thing is so contrived, there are no links leading to Rumcars or any other affilliated sites, just instant Twitter and Facebook groups, fantastic if this spawns a resurgence of interest in our hobby, but by paying owners to come to their event, buys only the illusion of credibility.

Sorry Mike but I never tire of my machines. I always get a buzz when I drive them.
I've had loads of classic cars and sold them all. The micros are special and I'll keep them for ever.
Anyway, so few reps will be made it will make virtually no difference to Joe Public.....

I'll keep my core rare machines. 2 x Peel , Scoot and KR. I have a white tank CZ100 and that's staying. Oh and the last Trobike sold which is totally original.
Replaced my first Scoot with a better one. Could not whatever I did get the Treinkel to select all gears. Had to go.
Isetta went as the club parts situation was at the time utterly imposssible and they're very common and boring. They're the MGB of the bubble world. I have no interest in MG's and likewise Isettas.
Should a cheap Isetta land on my lap then I'll buy it. Invariably I'll flog it very soon after.
In short some you can replace and some you can't. Ergo the ones I can't I'm keeping. Yeah I can get a KR tomorrow but not one like mine.

I like looking at people trying to figure out what the hell flashed past them on that country lane, so I suppose it's a result of my paranoia that if reps become too publicized it'll be, "oh! There's another one of those", although it makes me more determined to find some other oddity no one else has got.

Hey get this, I just saw on the Peel website that they want £99 from you to take a test drive! Its ok though because they provide lunch and you get a certificate saying you drove one. Errr I think I'll keep my £99.
Perry, yes, Isettas and MGB's are comparatively common, this is because they were both good cars in there day and sold well over an extended period of time. The awful cars that failed like Peels etc got to be rare for that very reason, they were not commercially successful and only a few were made. What I'm doing is running a common good car and collecting a rare unsuccessful one. At the end of the day we all just like what we like. By the way what happend to your Gold Cursor?

I sold my SILVER Cursor to my very good friend (at RUM in an Invacar) due to storage issues. That's my achilles heel. I'll probably regret it but such is life..
I'll sell what I want when I want if the mood should take me. I'll keep what Il want when I want should the mood take me.
I like what I have. I have what I like. If they suddenly bore me they'll go. All of them. That's extremely unlikely but who knows?
I wanted a Trident above all else. It cost me a lot of money. Now I'm happy. It's unlikely to be ever for sale.

Just tickling ya ribs young Perry! Funny I could have sworn that Cursor was gold! Seniour moment! I agree, its pointless keeping cars if they no longer do it for you and I have exactly the same storage problem as yourself. One advantage of owning Peels, you can get a lot of them in a single garage!

Packaged correctly you can get a Mk1 Scoot,KR,P50 and Trident in a single garage all on their wheels.
Can't argue with that! Once I feel I wont to sell a car it has to go. But the ones I have now I want to keep. That's not to say I don't want any more. But I have nowhere to put them.
My father's building a garage....

I can see why that could be annoying if you wanted to get a car in or out but as yours are in cardboard boxes whats the problem? :D :D

It's the principle of the thing. Anyway I'm just about to drop a skip outside that guys house so that'll learn him! :D

No idea of your location but obtaining the use of a warehouse pallet truck is the answer. Each time a car offends nip out with pump up truck and 'pallet' buffer and truck the offending car into the road and leave it there. No damage done and no moans as the car should not be there. Beyond that if you remain unobserved the fact you have moved a whole car suggests muscle back up so a disinclination to resort to fisticuffs. Had to do this myself and it worked fine.
No one minds so much if permission is obtained if the cars are infrequently moved. This gains favours which can be handy but I would not have someone taking advantage without asking.
