Looking good.

Is that the correct UK registration? All Tridents are mainly C or as mine one of the few '66 D's.  Yours has a pre '63 plate.

I think you once said you have no UK papers. So is that plate just for 'show'?

Yes Perry you are right . This is not the org reg. number.
Former owner of my Trident was Gordon F.....
When i got it in 1988 it was totally demolished, no documents and in a poor condition.
Anyway it was a genuine car and worth to get restored.
Couple of collectors ask my if the Peel is for sale, but no chance.
Hope to meet u anywhere in2007.
Regards

Your Peel's looking quite superb.

Only thing I'd possibly do different is paint the mudguard black (and fit one of Andy's door seals which are a perfect copy of the round foam original..)  Shame the docs have gone.  I suppose that's life.  I think Gordons owned more Peels than anyone else by far!!

So you've had it nearly 20 years. That's a fair amount of time.

Collectors wishing to buy? I wouldn't sell it if I were you. Simply impossible to replace. Well what I'm saying is if you do sell it's my bet that it'll cost a good deal more to get another..   A Trident rarely comes up for sale. Two a decade?!

Keep Peeling and maybe us and our Peels paths may cross this year!

Hi Perry,
thanks for your advice about the foam seal and the mudgard. It was painted red because i thought its original when i did restore the car in 1988. I hope i can exhibit the old photos from the restauration later this year.
Don't worry, im not interested to sell the Trident. It belongs to my collection for such a long time, and i do love the Peel cars.
See you,
Ferdi
