Title: wtd - air cleaner/filter box for a Messerschmitt

Hi folks - I am re assembling my 57 Kr200. I bought this last year as a pile of bits and I now find I am missing an air filter box - I can get the filter etc but am struggling to find an actual box itself. Can anyone help me?

Hi Steve,

  These are quite hard to find, but you can find scooter ones that are the same size and shape, apart from the nozzle is at a different spot, so it wont fit on the second bolt. You can do that if you dont find any proper ones, but I dont reccomend it.
Have you tried schmitt talk?
Suprising your car didnt have one, shame they arent remade...

Thanks Jonothan, I think I have located one in sweeden, Ive just got get it shipped over
