Just thought I would share some images of Story 2000. This one's a P Vallie which was for sale, a German guy had bought it along and wanted £4000 which was far too much at the time. He was also selling the Scoot Mk1 along side for the sale sort of money. You cannot see it in the photo's but the body of the PV is a strange early plastic compound with no smooth gel coat on top, it had fiber stands in it that looked more like horse hair than fiberglass! Just painted over the top!

Theme music, 'Into the Vallee' by the Skids? They are strange things. Sort of resin impregnated millboard. I found one in the Quircy region of France way back when which I later sold after the Christies auction for a satisfying sum. Part of me wishes I still had it but another part says I did the right thing as you cannot keep everything and I could not even dare sit in it! Better to move on to other things. Better to have had and moved on than never had at all, perhaps. MIne had a sort of square windscreen on it, almost as if it was off a larger car. Pics have shown this to have probably been correct.

Lovely pic, thanks for sharing

I guess I'm drawn to them because of the Ydral engine with gyrostarter.

My dad repaired one of them before. They are awful to repair, he had to have his feet poking out of the cockpit!
Weird car, since the prototype had a gel coat...

Yes I have loads but have to sit down one day and scan them all because they are real photos, not digital.

It is a Paul Valee prototyoe. Looks newer, but I think its actually one of the original protos, for the normal paul valee, not a new model!
-
I doubt that very much. More likely the follow up that never went into production.
-
guess i nmight be behind bob on this one jonathon - certainly looks more likely than a prototype i think

stoery 2002
some images i have
lloyd 400 - may be i think the earlier cardboard type 300. same Lloyd 300 engine as my Bruetsch Pfeil
fiat topolino 600 ohv engine replaced the earlier styled 600 side valve ( i still have one of these to sell )
lloyd alexander - not in fact a micro and bigger 4 stroke engine
fulda of some model jonathon could identify
-
theres more
spatz photos taken ( and many more ) as the body and layout similar to my Bruetsch project
-

Yes I saw that on the screen but I think if it was 2000 euros I would have bought it.
