Bison live in America not near the Alps. They were looking in the wrong place. Now Higgs Buffalo would be a whole different thing. Then again an American Buffalo is a sort of Bison not a Buffalo so if Higgs were American it would explain the mix up and why the Americans were not looking for it themselves as they know they shot most of them a while ago. They have Yellowstone National Park which is a lot prettier to look at and cheaper to run than the Hadron Collider and that is full of Buffalo that are Bison really. Hope that helps. Happy Chrimbo!
