Quiten a few Isettas had this sort of engine cover, no idea why they made a whole new pressing!

very early Standart Isettas doesnt't have the louvers at all. Well, i aint a Isetta priest, but as far as i am informed, this must be one of the first 300 cars ever built. Very early anyway.

What is not to like? Be interesting to drive as if it is mechanically as good as it looks it might even convince me that Isettas can be nice to drive like the Ex Phil Bowler 250cc. The blank engine hatch appears in some of the schematic drawings published I think. Stylistically it looks better?

Achilles has a lovely car, earlier than my bubble window, but not one of the first, as it has the small 5 inch light pods like my car, and not the trumpet shaped lights that mold to the side of the car, it also has the full front bumper, not the split one, the engine cover decends from the ISo dosnt it?
I willl attach a couple of pictures of Jim's from the National, think his is a 1956? :)
