built in Barcelona capital of Catalonia .and home of MANUEL  ;)  meant to be very rare but on the club run in the film of them there are really quite a few and nearly all , if not all , were B - Barcelona registered . did they only sell in that area ? if not i would there an awful lot nationwide ( don't go down the Catalonia / Spain avenue .)
would love one -a nice little Jolly with easy Villiers spares

Very basic but with charm. Good fun in nice weather too. I would probably prefer a Jolly (given money etc).
I think Spain and Italy were like France in having quite a number of regional makers long after the Vera Lynn War, whereas by then most UK makers had been consolidated into bigger national groups. Morgan refused all buy outs and mergers, and now that London Taxicab International has gone Morgan is about the only UK owned production car maker! *

* Yes I know there are kit car makers, + rally, hill climb, racing cars makers too. Perhaps Bristol is still trading but possibly now foreign owned.
