Thanks  Dodger.  I liked the blues number playing in the second film. Hopefully I will be joining you at the National this year.

The last scene of the  "blues" video teases with just a partial view of a blue/ white pointy nosed car just ahead of the Gordon.
Is it a Goggo Dart?

Ah, some confusion here about whats the blues number, the National Rally vdeo, the long one has the blues number playing. The short one back at headquarters has a kind of an unappealing dirge playing in the background. I guess thats the one with the mystery car poking its nose out from behind d the wall. Thats Andy's old racing car. I will leave it to young Dodger to tell you what it is.

ashamed to say i am not sure what i am viewing . great bits of film but having seen them i don't know how they are normally viewed , i do use youtube but just type in a heading and see what comes up .i have never searched for a group or set . am i using youtube incorrectly ? having followed this link i then left it and went into youtube in my usual way and searched for RUM - nothing came up .
Question 1 . how to search for such a link
Question 2 . how would one know that such material is available
sorry bit of a dinosaur but suspect there may be others like me in JURASSIC PARK  :)

Here is another piece of film that may be of interest. When you start choose the miniature cars option on the right

Youtube is only as good as the description that people put on alongside the videos they upload or in the description of their channel or playlist. The Rumcars banner on Jamie Dodgers channel is a bit of artwork, not a bit of text so it doesn't come up in any search. unlike the RUMcar open day video.

You can search for a phrase by typing allintitle: before the phrase in quotation marks in the search box  e.g allintitle:"peel p50" will find videos with Peel P50 in the title
there's a few other useful tips here:
http://www.labnol.org/internet/youtube-search/19261/ (http://www.labnol.org/internet/youtube-search/19261/)

Youtube does have an "advanced search" option, but it only narrows things down by things that aren't related to content e.g. length, upload date etc.

yer its uncle Andrews racing car. ;D

It is an Aurora with a Mini Cooper engine and was once owned by Trevor and Ann Taylor.  It has now been sold on to another member of the Forum who hopes to restore to its former glory sometime. Pictured below at Goodwood in 1965 Jean

Itlooks almost as cool as the Frisky Sprint show car that stole the show in 1958 at Earls Court.

Dodger, I cant really hear it with all that vacuuming going on, I heard you say "better than the Inter" , I guess you are talking about your P50? Followed by me asking if you have had it running yet and you say "Pretty much!" What do you mean pretty much? Yes, or no?  Eeer no! blaa blaa

Where is the sarcasm? Have I missed a bit?

I just watched that Dodger. A real hive of activity, you can hear us in the background trying out each others mig welders, crackling away there. So Mike recommends Blue Hymolar then? It happens to be the goo of my choice too.

I have put some new videos up on the channel, the Brooklands auction one is more based towards the normal classic car people :P ;) ;) ;D
There is a new intro I am trying out and it would be nice to know what you think. I hope you enjoy them and there are many more to come and hopefully a  new series called 'Bodge It'. so that should be exciting. :o ;D ;D

So as always check out http://www.youtube.com/channel/UCWWcFabkWKKjKynSLLeW7qw?feature=watch encase you have forgotten. ;) :D

Dear Jamie

Very good. I like the new intro. Good choice of semi classical music. Good interesting visuals in terms of angles and pans, you have a good eye for editing as well. The only thing you need is a tripod or one of those camera steady contraptions they use on Top gear, whereby you can walk about and the camera stays steady especially for long shots.

PS who is that fat bloke with a stupid hat?

Search for cheap steadycam. Probably make a good Bodge it project as well.
