Title: MIcro tales
Post by: Bob Purton on July 29, 2013, 09:15:56 AM
Heres a good one I heard yesterday at Jeans. An elderly chap in attendance was asking me questions about Thumper, he then told me that years ago his brother in law owned a nice blue Isetta and one day visited a circus in it, the visitors cars were parked up in the grounds quite near to the arena. As one of the elephants was being led out of its enclosure into the arena it decided to stop walking and for some unknown reason just sat back on the Isetta! Squashing it of course!  One theory was that it may have mistaken the car for one of its trick props!

Interesting stuff.

Talking of elephants, a Zimbabwean friend once advised me never to carry oranges in my car should elephants be in close proximity. Apparently the smell gives them severe munches and they will tip your car over trying to extract the small round fruit. ;)

Very well Bob, nearly finished. While you were away at Jean's, doors were opened for me and then swung back and caught me on my heels. Should not have been down on my knees!  ;D
