I remember it well, especially me waiting patiently at the pre arranged meeting place, the little chef on the A12 for you two. Proceeding on my own to the ferry terminal at Harwich wondering what had happen and thinking shall I drive to Stoery on my own? It seems strange now that it was only a few years ago and still none of us had mobile phones to keep in contact with each other.

Very true Bob - but we found ways of signalling our intentions between cars . Ho ho ho .my first mobile was 2003 and I didn't send a text until 2004 hard to believe it's so recently

As I recall you and Mike just got there as they were pulling up the gang plank! After that it all went smoothly apart from me running out of petrol on the autobahn and of course the now famous biscuit nibbling incident! :D

Quite an adverture really!

There were probably stolen. They don't call Essex 'the Badlands' for nothing you know! :D

Actually they were scatter in a million pieces all over the carriage way! Its amazing the car went on to do the five hundred mile trip with out a cooling shroud! The weather was quite hot in Germany too!
