I would LOVE to go to that but will be away, as usual! Perhaps next year!

Dear Maurice
How did the Hawkhurst to Northiam run go? You had some good weather.

It went very well. 17 persons, 4 KR200s, 1 Tg500, 1 Isetta, 1 Goggomobil plus a 3 common cars. My cameras's battery went flat when I wanted to take a photo of the micro in front of the museum.
Alas my Goggo, which has been getting rather rattly of late, seized this morning and was not the same afterwards. I have had a look - both small ends have a lot of play and 4 out of 6 piston rings are stuck in the piston.
Do you want a write up?

Dear Maurice
Glad to hear the run went well, but sorry to hear the Goggo engine has seized.
The offer of a write up, would that be for the Goggo engine, or the Northiam run?
Being restricted to 32 pages means I do not have a lot of space for time topical items like a run in RCN, as they need to be reported soon after the event to make them of interest. By December it would be old news, Hence asking you on the forum, which is much more instant.
If while you are rebuilding your Goggo engine you can take some good images, with text to accompany, it would be of interest as it is timeless, and we do need some technical items to keep your fellow Rumcar News readers happy.
I look forward to hearing from you or anybody else with a technical rebuild article.
