Could anyone recommend a good quality tyre to fit the rear wheel of a Mk1 Scootacar?

Yes, Heidenau are just about the best you can buy now in my opinion. A lot of the Schmitt drivers use them now that the Michelins are all gone. I get mine from these people in Germany.

A classic tread pattern and good stout side walls.

Hi Barry,
A couple of nice Trolls you have there. Do you have any other scooters? I have a Berlin on the road and a Troll that needs registering. The Berlin was featured in Scootering magazine acouple of years ago. Cool machines the IWL's

well i remember them bob but they were a girlie thing weren't they ? multi coloured . no it was the internet/social media troll that i was referring to . we dont want them here . actually i love the scooters but ......

Hi Richard,
During the stormy weather last month, my mate spotted a Gordon car behind a fence panel that had blown down in the wind. It was or still is behind a block of flats in sunny Bridport.
I believe you have one don't you? Have you any info on them? I am not sure if this one is for sale or not, it has been in this garden for some time.

The Heidenau tyre has arrived and fitted and is A1 quality, so thanks Bob for the excellent tip. Also it was £3:80 cheaper to buy in Germany than it was in the UK, including postage as well.
