Great photo! It seems to have pedals and motor, so an early Moped perhaps?

Last week in Pargess Burk, er, Burgess Park, I saw a woman on a big tricycle with a large box trailer affair between its front wheels. There were 4 sprogs of about 4-7 years old in it, clearly having a great time. As she passed I noticed a 5th sprog in a shoulder carrier on her back.

Battersea Park regularly has fair numbers of Jewish parents wheeling one or two sprogs around in box trikes, but this 4 seater was considerably bigger. Easily big enough to accommodate one of my portable drum kits....

Could have been a Dutch Cargo Tricycle. There are many different types in the Netherlands.

Rob, it was similar to the one in your 2nd photo but the sides were a lot higher. I saw them in Holland about 30 years ago but they only appeared in UK more recently. The ones the Jewish people use are virtually cubic boxes and always black, they remind me of Amish wagons.

A Mokoli is nearly Amisherschmitt, already.
