Is it this one you have just bought??

(http://i120.photobucket.com/albums/o194/Shaun_079/lambretta013_zpsaaebe3f8.jpg) (http://s120.photobucket.com/user/Shaun_079/media/lambretta013_zpsaaebe3f8.jpg.html)

I was offered first refusal before it weant on E-bay but he wouldn't drop the price a penny from £1500, then txt me to say he accepted a fair bit less to end it early  ???

Very odd way to do business :-\

But hope you enjoy it, are you going to make it road legal, or just for fun in private grounds??

Looks like you should be getting  rid of that old Lambretta taking up space.  I have a good home for it :D
When were your fire extinguishers last checked Jamfan?

It was on the Saturday before Ebay he blankly refused to budge on £1500  :-\
Who are you gonna use for a dating letter??
LCGB won't do them and the new system is a nitemare  :o
Have you sourced the brakes yet  ;)

And WHY is your workshop like a scooter graveyard  :'(
I see 2 lammies and 1 Vespa, looks '70's Super/sprint stylie but the pics not too clear.

Im happy it will be done up in a fetching shade of red with a black cat nailed to the roof  ;D

Oh and one last question, does he actually look like Quentin Tarantino ??

Ha Shaun, you must have bought the last Lawil off him!! (Tarantino). They're both rally 180s. Li 63 special, 1969 Eibar special (on the floor).
You'll love the van when done ..... watch this space. (what are the Lawil shocks from?) I'm stripping the chassis tomorrow morning and getting the thing powder coated. Got the steel for the front panel and I am going to stick it through the rollers. The front bumper is too rusty to re-crome, so I'll have to paint it the same body colour.

Yes mate, I bought this one:

I didn't have to change the shocks as mine were good,
I would look at the old Fiat 500 first as a lot is interchangeable.

Whats the plan with the scooters?
I have one or two myself.

Will the Willam be ready the IOW then  ;)

Did mr Tarantino tell you he has a Lambro coming in soon?
I had one on the road in daily use for 7 years, very much fun to ride  8)

The rears are not the same as fiat 500? what are they from? Does anyone know what this is?(I think its a rectifier?) The electrics are rusty as I think the van was stored with the bonnet open. If anyone has an electric scematic please let me know,Is the starter also the Dynamo?
thankyou ;)

I am sure (from memory0 the starter is just a starter, the box in the pic looks like a regulator.
On a Vespa 5 pin reg the B+ is the battery charging pin.
If it is like my old one, it will be 12v electronic Ducati with a red CDI under the front cover.

All these Lawil Williams being chatted about,  I do hope that some of you will put theirs on the Register, we are empowered by the DVLA to issue dating certificates as well you Know.  Ask Richard Warren and Mike Shepherd, they are our nominated representatives. Jean

I thought I'd let you see updates today...... Chassis stripped and all running gear at the blasters to be powder coated satin black.
I've cut the majority of rot out. I'll get the rust blasted out tomorrow and etch primed, then back and start welding. I'm not sure which way to go with the n/s wing? make a mould and get a fibre glass one laid up (if needed I could make some more in the future, also if anyone here need one?) or crack on with the English wheel and bead roller (which is much more satisfying).

I do hope your blasters know their pressure ! My Trojan was practically  wrecked by my blaster who filled it with so many dents it looked like the surface of the moon . Previously indented but had many coats of paint and with a bit of rust -  it made the job  very difficult- never again on bodywork for me

Thanks for the advice Richard. I'll blast it with the pressure turned right down with fine garnet, (it's not normally the pressure, it's usually the heat that distorts) Iv'e been there before!!!! :( On a customers car !!!

God it wasnt you was it !! When i Trailered the body shell to the guy he wrote my address , in felt pen , on the body - do you see where this is going ? To cut a long story short he delivered it bAck to 50 parkway , I live at 50 park ROAD . I found this out when I enquired as to its whereabouts . I arrived just in time to stop that house owner dumping " that pile of rubbish " off his driveway  :)
