note: this is the same vehicle that used to be in the BW Microcar Museum.
this Russian car blog has a nice collection of images of the Honda Caren, including ones from a brochure showing cute girls sitting in one and someone driving one!

No wonder I couldn't help you remember it Steve. I have never seen one before. When I said the AC sociable had similar wheel configuration of course I meant the Scott Sociable. Like this one.

The car is actually called a ?????? URI-?(which translates as something like sidecar URI-II), designed by a company called Moonfleet and based upon and around a 2-wheel 50cc Honda Caren moped, a little like the Moby in the Hammond Collection is based on a Yamaha QT50. Here's the page the Russian's seem to have nicked their info from.

What I would class as a Cabin Moped
-
Steve,I have never seen or heard of this one before but it is so like the Moby in basic design, one wonders who cribbed from who? Jean
-
This is the one Jean and I were trying to remember, the Suzuki CV1
-
Now after the awful looking Caren that looks great :)
-
The Honda CV1 is certainly one of the best looking of the Micro World's tiddlers. Also, whereas 'schmitts and Isettas have frequently had their styling "borrowed", the CV1 appears to be more influenced by Heinkel.
-
Err, its a Suzuki.

DOH! Engage brain before typing, Marcus!
-
Yes Marcus on this site you are expected to include most of the right letters - though not necessarily in the right order ;)
