He must be one of the most prolific engineers of all time, and he was born 214 years ago today. Just see what he did:

Well the planning, health and safety, environmental and other talking shops would make such a speed of action impossible now. Pyramid? Oh no, no, no. Its not a traditional structure, newts, no blocks over 20kg unless your called Derrick. Great things tend to only happen when the engineers are unfettered to get on with the job with a good budget. Microcosm of opportunity beget microcars.

No-one heard of him!! Well I have ! And my classmates at school will remember him very well , or Mr. Wilcox will give us a caning . Up there with Telford, Stephenson et. Al
