Well my hat is off to Mr Cobb! He could have just sat back and lived off his invalidity benefit but chose to graft instead. I admire people like that.
Scrammbling in the 60's, Saturday afternoons on the black and white telly, Vic Eastwood, Arthur Lampkin are a couple of names that come to mind.

As Eamonn Andrews said most concerns used to sell road machines off competition success but the great British scrambles and trials machines came to be outclassed by the Spanish of all people with later the Scandinavian concerns , Ossa , Bultaco, Montesa ,Husqvarna and others , they oddly never produced or exported anything much in the way of road machines
