Title: a new view of Bruetsch Pfeil
Post by: richard on March 16, 2015, 08:59:10 PM
i have been sent this photo today it was taken from ebay by someone that did not win it . Thats why the pic is so indistinct . After many years of searching I have NEVER seen an original view of the Pfeil or Bussard so have no idea what to aim for .
1) Could anyone improve this pic - I doubt
2) Could anyone say which French Magazine this appeared in
3) Does anyone have the magazine or this photograph from somewhere else

No rear view was ever known to exist before

I've tried searching completed eBay listings on French eBay and come up with nothing, I've also tried a general web-image-search to find the matching image from the auction listing and that usually works for listings that are still on eBay, but this one is a dead-end.
It is also too small to "enhance" really.

It's difficult to tell for sure, but it looks more like italian than french.

+ 1 for Italian, I think "della Casa" means from the house in Italian, i.e. "from the House of Brutsch", house meaning Brand.

Other than that, no info and cannot help with the image, good luck.

Frankie du Cunto? He is very into unusual Italian cars these days, but if such a document was to come up I am sure he would take a copy. A great European collector of paperwork is Wolfgang Kreus (spelling). Great Schmitter. Sadly I have no direct coms with either of them.

The original ebay ad was last october -i had email from a gent called Jochen who was asking for a pic of the Pfeil/Bussard dash i told him i thought no such existed . He makes great models and although a personal email I can see no harm in posting  some pics
Jochen likes the Bruetsch shape and would not be surprised if he soon turned to the Tourette and the like

Despite Marcus' seemingly sensible suggestion - these further pics are, we are told , from the same French magazine

Great models, and the text with those other photos is legible and definitely French!

one more picture from this French magazine that I find of interest - the difference is quite clear in this shot ( designer on the left) showing the Zwerg Einsitzer and Zweisitzer  _ oops we are back to Italian  :) these must be at least two magazines

Dear Richard

The image of the 400 four wheeler was in a Belgian magazine/news paper, as it mentions Belgian Francs (pre the Euro), but it is not clear if the other articles in French are also Belgian. probably not.
