Chris has received the following email but neither he nor I can offer any answer.  Although, I must admit there is something nagging in the back of my brain about the name, can anyone throw any light on the subject please?

Hello I m trying to track down Michael Pollock-Hill Williams for my aged mother.  She and Michael, if he survives, are 83 and were great friends in Pyrford, Surrey just after WW2.  I have found several photos which my mother thinks are Michael on your forum. Do you have any news regarding him?
Deceased?  Contact information?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.
