Helmingham was a great event and all for charity.
My good friend Brian Page, owner of Classic Assessments was doing the commentary.

Only two microcars that I found.  My Messerschmitt and another blue one.
There were many great and not so great cars there.
No trailers as far as I could see and I had a nice local drive.

My Schmitt had a lot of attention compared to the 'supercars'.

I had a good admire of your scmitt Barry. Beautiful colour and in wonderful condition. I would have come in my Lawil c2 as I only live in Fram but the wife said she wouldn't drive that far in it :( (She is 8 months pregnant)

It would have been great to meet-up.  We didn't know if we were going until the last minute.
I am in Mickfield and my boys go to Thomas Mills in Fram.

Microcars were thin on the ground and your Lawil would have stolen the show.  Ideal car to take your wife out in if she goes past full term.  Guaranteed results.

A small word of acknowledgement for the condition of the car should go to Bob Purton for assembling it and giving it a quick blow-over in yellow, although I have spent much time polishing it.

My wife avoided the trip in the Schmitt by forcing one of my sons to come :)  We went in convoy with her Smart Car.
