Chavatov,
You are an obvious aficionado with some very rare micros.
We would love to see pictures and hear their stories if you feel like sharing.

No idea, where to find a cylinder head, but for tyres call your lambretta agent, as the a-model has 7-inch wheels too. The cyclemaster piatti uses an Amal Carb witch is very rare, but you can use the dellorto used on the belgian piatti.

good luck with your piatti - by the way, the scooter is very horrible to drive :-)

Hi oliver remind me what is the engine in the Piatti ? And why is the carburettor rare ? Not many Villiers carbs are rare are they ? Let's us know and we can have a look in our boxes

Engines by Cyclemaster apparently? Some interesting photos here of bits of the engine being made and a cross section of the engine from the Greek Vespa page. (obviously!) Is there a Vespa connection?

The Photos originate from the Morton's archive.

Go to the Private Collections tab and search for Piatti

Thanks for the informations.

i will try the differents options... and let you know.

i will try to post pictures, but actually all  my collection is on the Flirck's page on speudo:"  chavattov ".

Since 1997 i collect scooters and since 2000 microcars. I only strat as i do love the design of the 50's. i was 23 years old
i did start on scooters  with  a vespa ACMA 1954 and for microcars  with the isetta velam.

After,  as most of you i did research on this hooby who became a strong VIRUS. i don't mind performance, but look after strange design.

All was bougth unrestored except the green maico mb200. so i do all by my own execpt the electricity.
of course my work is not perfect but i do my best to go on this way.

The INTER 175 was present to me by a friend (it was uncomplet as  Bob's P  one ), actually i do complet the engine and it was be on the road next year.
the reyonnah was found on a french sinca  club internet 's page, showing a rallyand a private collection where it was on show.
i did writte to the club to get in touch with the orwner. he sold to me 3 years laters after trying to sale all his collection in one piece to US guys. of course i did pay a lot for it but he offer me to trade with the isetta velam all restored.
i am very happy to have this car and actually is paint in old whitte, and will rebuilt it newt year after the INtER.

actually where i can help is on the Plexiglass. i have the oportunity to work on a factory.
i did the back  windshield plexi for isetta  ISO, VELAM or the 1st BMW)
thanks for help

well this cyclemaster stuff doesn't help. For a piatti scooter you need completely different parts. Same with the AMAL carbs - for Velocette you will find plenty but you need an AMAL 363 not a 376

The scooter has a 125cc 2-stroke single engine made (presumably) by Cyclemaster. The engines listed on Ebay are all the very much more successful 25cc & 32cc 2-stroke single bicycle power units. There have been gasket sets on Ebay for the scooter, but anything else is hen's teeth.
