Dear All who are intending to attend the Hammond Collection Weekend

Kent Highways department, or more accurately the gas and electric companies have decided to dig up Hawkenbury lane over the weekend of 27-31 July at the Staplehurst end of the road. This means that through traffic along Hawkenbury lane past Boarden Lane will be diverted off along  Four Oaks Lane towards Headcorn.

The best option will be to approach School House Farm from Sutton Valance, Turn right into New Barn Road and at Four Oaks Road ignore the road diversion signs and continue straight on and turn left into Boarden Lane.

If you normally approach from Cranbrook you may have a long diversion route to follow to get around the short road closure.
