Title: Trabant and Eastern Bloc Forum started

Jean reckons that I should put the info into the RUM forum about the Trabant ( well IFA actually) forum as there is not really an active club for the poor little eastern bloccers. there is an online forum at

If anyone needs parts for their Trabant, please contact me as I have a couple of good, cheap sources - tha is if anyone else in here is masochistic enough to own one!!! - there are other Eastern Bloc Microcars occasionally on the forum as well. 8)

There may not be a specific club for Trabbies, but there IS the U.S.S.R. (unloved soviet and socialist register) whose Julian Nowill has at least one Trabant and is a great fan (and author) of all things Eastern, he is at Earlsland house, Bradninch, Nr Exeter, Devon, and you should definately checkit out !

As well as the Wartburg Trabant ifa club,though its not very active,unfortunately i missed IFA day.
