Electric microcars on Top gear.
« on: December 19, 2007, 03:26:22 PM »
Have just been informed by the G-wiz forum that the G-wiz and other small electric cars will be featured on top gear this sunday 23rd December and repeated on the 25th at midnight. It will be interesting to see if the team feel any remorse for causeing G-wiz sales to plumit by two thirds as a result of there last fiasco regarding crash testing. The new 2008 G-wiz now has been crash tested by the manifacturers after improvments to the crash safety cell with more satisfactory results, these improvements were done with the help of Lotus. The crash testing was done at 25mph which is a more realistic city speed for a G-wiz than top gears 40mph. Interestingly, although the g-wiz has covered over twenty million customer miles there has not been one serious accident. Amazing what you can learn on the G-wiz forum but they dont have all the swearing and tantrams that we have, a bit dull really!
