No change with the poll today, I think the novelty may be wearing off, I guess we are just waiting now for the infrequent forum users to spot it and leave there vote.

Don, it would be an awful lot of work to translate everything to English! I actualy get along fine using translation software, obviously it doesn't translate every word but I can understand most topics posted.

I see that no one has voted on the poll for a few days, it seems to have run its course, I would end it early if it was possible but I dont appear to have that option. Also its a shame that we have a three way draw still between the Trident, Dart and the scootacar, maybe there is someone who is still pontificating over there choice and will give us a clear winner over the next couple of days. Lets wait and see.

Hi Bob

You could always start a 2nd poll with just the 3 joint leaders, then we might get a decider.

I like the poll idea, i think it's great fun.

Bought a new trailer to do up and transport the Heinkel to shows yesterday, so will be busy for the next couple of weeks.

Thats good John. Its handy to have the choice of weather to drive or trailer to a rally, driving is in the spirit of things but not always practical, for intsance, if your family want to go with you or the car is acting up or like me lately you just feel too fragile for the journey. I try to drive to at least one rally per year but it often turns out to be two or three. There is no excuse for the local ones! Out of interest John, who did you go with for the heinkel insurance?

Hi

I just used Footman James, because i used them years ago

It was £99 for the year fully comp with breakdown cover and agreed value insurance of £5,000

They give a 10% discount for being a club menber.

Appart from the fact that they took 7 days to get a cover note to me, i would say that in the past they were good.

i also noticed that they were the H/T OC reccomended insurer in one of the old club mags, but don't know if they still are.

Thanks John, I was just curious. I'm with Footman James for my Microcar vergo, I switched to Lancaster for the Schmitt last year for some reason or an other. I think I will switch back to F/james this year though. Lancaster made an awfull fuss over my wanting to increase the agreed valuation, not impressed.
