Hi

There are a couple on Ebay at the mo

This one is local to me in Bournemouth, and I have seen the car (only briefly) as I was interested in a trailer the vendor was selling.

Very low miles and original. :-

Here is another :-

And another very purple one :-

It's amazing, you don't see one for sale for months and then suddenly there are 4 for sale at the same time

"PERHAPS THEY FOUND OUT I JOINED THE CLUB AND ALL DECIDED TO SELL UP QUICK ?"
 ???

Hello John
The first 2 ended before I saw them. The 3rd looks very nice, nothing wrong in my book with a bit of mild "personalising". Although it is described as "blue" it looks purple. I actually thought of painting my car purple and it looks nice to me, but I settled on red so that I could have red tartan seats to match my girlfriend's mini skirt. Hope your car is going better now

Hi Marcus

Just been reading the article about the flying car heinkel in an old issue of the club mag.

Was it your father who was the designer?  or he had the papers? can't remember without going and finding the article in about 20 different mags. books etc. I have on the go at the moment.

Mine is the Trojan red with red interior as well (not tartan though)

Seems to be running fine, touch wood.

I am not too worried about everything being totaly original, ie. the scooter engine will be staying in place as it works, "practicality and value for money runes O.K."

Are you going to the Bubble Car Museum Rally April ?

John

Hello John , sorry for delay...pc problems. I am writing a small book about the Heinkel Specials, will keep you posted. I hope to go to the bubble Car museum, but Spring-Autumn is a bad time for me because I get a lot of gigs at week ends, (www.fezheads.co). " week ends ago we were quite close to you in Swanage. You can see my Trojan and drum car on www.330studios.co.uk

Hi Marcus

just had a look at the pictures of your car.

Looks very smart, big difference between the before and after pics. where did you get the snazzy wheeltrims and whitewall tyres?

Hi John
I'm the guilty person who supplied Marcus with the whitewall tyre trims and the snazzie wheel trims - I have a spare set and I will bring them to the meet at the bubble car museum in April if you want a set for your car.
