And how many times in history has there been the possible chance of getting the three pure examples of the "kabinroller" design from Germany, France & Austria side by side in the shape of Messerchmitt, Inter & Felber?!  :o To get those three lined up together is my self-proclaimed target for the weekend. Get those cameras ready & hold the front page of RCN.......

Too true! You have it listed as one of the vehicles on the display field. All the others will be there.  ;D

Shed? I thought it was "The Bubble Building".

Did somebody mention FLESH!  Have I missed something.  I know that the early Velorex was covered with some form of leather, but has somebody covered a Microcar with skin. That would be sexy!! You can presumably only get them is set colours like pink and brown. Would it suffer from sun burn if left out in the sun, or go wrinkly if left out in the rain, or would in go blue in winter?

What a great idea, especially now they can grow skin in a laboratory

That makes giving your car a female name very appropriate such as Clio or Dyane or Mini

Are there any pictures of these Flesh covered cars?

What a sight that would be. Marcus looking at the cars in the flesh!  :o

Reminds me of the artist asking his model if she minds being painted in the nude. When she says "No", he rips off his clothes and starts his artwork.  ::) ;D

They're creating all sorts of things in the lab these days, though things got a bit out of hand when one sceintist tried to cross his Messerschmitt with one of the white mice.......

Nice pic Stuart, where did you find it?

Dear Stuart

Are we supposed to be looking at the mechanical mouse or the shop window?

Don't complain about the lack of the 'unusual ' microcars attending.  Start digging and nagging at those folk who have something unusual who have not yet put their hand up.  I have written copious emails and letters but the direct personal approach is always the best one and many of you go to far more rallies than I do these days and meet people or have met them in the past in Holland, Germany, France etc. so put pen to paper or finger to computer key and see who you can chivvy out of the woodwork.   Jean

Well Done Jean, you are in the best position to do that having all the contact details. I guess at the end of the day we cant force them to bring there cars and it will be difficult and expensive for overseas owners to bring them but my point is that there are quite a few in the uk that we used to see that we dont see any more. I just remembered another one, what ever happen to the Lambretta powered Mink? Is it still in the UK?

Wiynford Jones now owns it but he lives down in Devon.  He has been invited so if any one knows him and can twist his arm please do.  I realise its a bit of a long haul though. Jean

Right, I'm on the case but being a Messerschmitt man he will probably be at the MOC Rally.
