Hi
I attended on the Sunday and took my "numbers" Trojan and a few autojumble bit's not much since I have booked a stall down at Beaulieu which is the coming weekend - there were quite a assortment of cars there 2 Scootocars one Frisky one Nobel two Peel Tridents and one P 50 two Goggomobils one saloon and one coupe, and the normal attendance of Bonds Heinkel/Trojan, Messerschmit and Isetta's - I did join the Micro-Maniacs while I was there and look forward to there magazine which I'm sure will contain photos of the event - I sadly did not take any photos of this event.

Another legendary National that was enjoyed by all.  Great cars, great people and reasonable weather what more could you want?
The site was buzzing with activity for 4 days and with so many friends to talk shop to and interesting cars to examine there really should have been another day.  Alas the bar could not cope with the demands and the beer barrels were running dry by early Sunday morning.
In traditional Maniacs style rally was 'Max fun, Min cost'.  Great to meet the Alan Evans of Bamby fame who was judging and handing out the awards.
A big thank you to Jim, Terry and the Maniacs

So where were all the famous 'Rumsters' ???

Yes that'll be before you broke my KR!  Oddly enough I don't look bald there!

Anyway bald is beautiful!!  Was a good bash.  Driving  the dales was seminal.

Looks like I missed a good weekend!  Unfortunately it's a bit early in my new relationship to say "Sorry, love, I know it's your birthday on Saturday but I'm off to the Nationa Microcar Rally!"

Maybe next year, then.

Understood Nick! Next year suggest a late Summer camping week end and you'll be alright!

Hi folks, it was my first visit to the National which I really enjoyed. I made some great contacts and picked up a couple of micro car books as well. For those of you who were there you may have noticed my newly acquired Teilhol Citadine on a trailer, having attended the Great Dorset Steam Fair I collected it at 12-30am Sunday morning near Southampton and drove through the night to reach the National before most people had surfaced from their tents, caravans and campers!
We arrived back in Ireland on Monday evening having covered just over 1,000 miles, I'm still recovering!. I took quite a few photos and if someone would volunteer to post them here which is beyond my capabilities then I will gladly email them to you. Thanks, Les.
