Stuart's mystery car....
« on: March 15, 2010, 05:46:36 PM »

What's your "mystery car X"?  surely you're not going to acquire a mainstream micro to go on the runs with and with no disabled leanings!!?!

;)  I was wondering how long it would be before somebody spotted the Eternal Mystery...  All will be revealed in due course, but enough to say there was something else lurking deep within that Welsh yard behind the row of Model 70's. Something quite remarkable & a suprise to us all when Alan, Ian & I spotted it that cold December day. Now I've done the deal, I shall have a little fun as you all try to guess what it was we found where no previus visiters bothered to look, for they saw only Model 70's and not what lay beyond.....

After the Ramones

X was not in the scapyard
X was not behind the fridge door!
X was not in the workshop
X is flogged off.

I saw it first as my bubble dowsing told me there was a micro present. It is rarely wrong. Nice big'uns too. Tea under a Bristol is almost as good as beer under a Vulcan.

Will be collecting my own mystory car this weekend.

Well Mr Bear indicated in another thread that Stuarts collection of sub 50cc cars was on the increase so I'm going to guess its sub 50cc, maybe a little piaggio truck?

Nope!   :)   The Piaggio truck "doesn't exist. It isn't there"....   ;)    (A little in-joke between Alan, Ian & me regarding an unconnected-to-the-topic vehicle also in the yard)

It's the Electric Trident.

Aah the Ape that is not there! We were not supposed to mention that, it is not there. It was not behind the Refridgerator door more than it wasn't in the scrapyard or the workshop. It is so not there that no pictures of it exist. So impressed were we with the lack of any sort of condition, since not existing it could not have any, that none of us did not offer not to buy it successfully. However one offer of not owning it was more successful that the other offers. So, guys, who does not own an Ape that does not exist? It could be any of us as we cannot tell you as the vehicle does not exist but it could be Stuart who would have to deny it as part of the buying proccess. If so you will be seeing him at Micro/Piaggio events without a vehicle which will clinch the fact that he might be the owner. I hope this clears that topic up.

Ahrg! The Tiger Mafia have linked with the Peel Mafia, its got four wheels! This little chap can creep up on you unheard being electric. No one is safe from organised Microing naughtiness. The only answer is to buy an Invalid Carriage perhaps.......well you have to try.

Lets quell unconfirmed speculation.

Here is the machine.   I'll think you'll agree it is a genuine unmollested example.
