Battery Chargers
« on: May 03, 2010, 11:27:08 AM »
Hi Everyone

I'm starting to get ready for the summer with my KR200 and I'm fed up with taking the battery out to charge it.

Can anyone recommed an intelligent charger that can be connected all the time I'm not using the Schmitt that will keep the battery in tip top condition.

Cheers

Dear Ralph

Northern Tools sell a 4W folding Solar panel for charging a 12 volt battery for £23.49 and is suitable for continuous connection provided the battery is larger than 35 Ah.

They also do a bigger more permnant one which can be used for vehicles like motorcycles for £ 70.49

The swedish company CTEK make some small and very good chargers but are likely to be about £70 each

I hope this has been of assistance

these are highly recommended, here is the International version:

or search for Deltran Battery Tender in the UK for a local distributor.
