You should ask members from the dwergauto club Netherlands _ just google-. As far as i do know, there are a couple of "Spatz "owners.
Hope that might be of help.

Dear lightweight dickie,

I´m living in Germany and am specialised in all bruetsch cars and their licences for some years. Unfortunately I don´t own one but I´am collecting any literature, brochures, photos etc I can get. Of course I can try to contact the Spatz club!
By the way, I´am working on a Bruetsch register which includes all surviving original bruetsch cars (separated the replicas as well). Regrettably I oly have an very old picture of your Pfeil from the "more Microcars" book of Tony Marshall. Would you be so kind and send me an picture of the Pfeil in it´s current condition? You can also contact me under my personal e-mail address tobias-baldus@t-online.de

Kind regards,

Tobias

help please i would like to make contact with the victoria/spatz club in Germany.

The W.I. could help if it were the Victoria Sponge Club but they would object to Spatz activity I fear. Are you still attempting to ID the suspension diaphrams? Be great to get the beast to the level of usage.

hi bruetsch freak

any way why are you Bruetsch-freak and not Brutsch-freak ? Herr Egon Brutsch surely only used his own name . in England R.P.Froggatt the proposed builder was to use the spelling with a E in the middle as in the English tongue it sounded more like the german U but with an ummlaut ( how do you spell that letter) as it happened due to financial differences between froggatt and Brutsch no cars`were ever built in England.
any help you can can please with the victoria spatz thing.

The Puck, I think, was a torsion suspension system and not suitable for Brutsch. May have misunderstood that. I am not familiar with the Brutsch Mopetta suspension. The Pfeil seemed to be using a large rubber diaphram. It seems very unlikely that this was specially made but I recall you had little luck in finding out what else it fitted on a tour of Story/Mannheim. Russell Church is in contacrt with the firm that makes the rubber suspension for the MOC. However it is an expensive process if it is of that cased design as they have to pressurise the tooling to force the rubber in. Thus a good tool has to be made from scratch to produce a result. If it is a freestanding rubber I imagine the process is going to be similar. Such cost wants defered to other buyers so either way the source and other uses of the rubber need to be found for economic replacement or to source an existing supply. Perhaps pics of the offending item might click with someone on site.

Hi lightweight dickie,

as far as I know usually the umlaut ü is transcribed with ue in other languages. But maybe in colloquial speech the single "u" is more common.
I´dont know if there were plans to actually build Bruetch cars in England. I allways heard that Froggat (as well as the Automotive and Marine Ltd. and the M.P.H.W. Sales Ltd.) were only dealers for in Germany produced cars.
An email to the Spatz Club is on the way.
