It is not the Lloyd on ebay. I think that one was locked in a barn for some time. Hopefully I can get an MOT on mine fairly soon and then write to the DVLA. By the way, can anyone tell me what forms I need for that?

I have looked at the German handbook and operating manual for the Lloyd LP 400. I was a little optimistic saying I'll translate it over the weekend. It's over 88 typed pages. But if you tell me what chapter you need translating, I'll do it as soon as possible.

 Go to -- http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/Motoring/BuyingAndSellingAVehicle/ImportingAndExportingAVehicle/DG_4022583

Where you can order, on line, an Import Pack - Application to register an imported vehicle for use in Great Britain. This should include the forms needed.

Thank you, Rob, for the useful link. Side indicators and rear seat belts, though, for a 1955 Lloyd - hmmm - might look interesting. Lightweight Dickie, I am in Oxfordshire but I am not Big Al. Happy to meet sometime and compare Lloyds. Yours isn't what I expected.

Hi all.  First time poster so be nice.   :)
I have the full workshop manual set for the Lloyd .  It consists of 3 A4 size folders about an inch thick.!
I can't remember if they are in Eng or De though, or which model they are for (400, 600 etc)  - if anyone is interested I will have to get them out of storage and have a look.
Regards, John.

Hi Dickie.
I have a 59 Alexander TS 600 wagon that I'm restoring (eventually).
I've seen a couple of sedans in Oz but I'm yet to see another wagon, so i guess it's pretty rare. Very hard to find info/parts here.
I've looked through some of my stuff and I've got an 'Operation manual' in English.  Is that what you're after?
Regards, John.

hi john thanks but i dont think theres much in common between the 400 2 stroke and 600 4 stroke so i think i would say no to that . thanks anyway and good luck with it

oops on second reading did you mean that the operation manual is for the 400 in which its surely what i am after

All the best, John.
