It's custom built and Honda powered, these guys http://www.asylumsfx.com/#/work/2 made it for the Birds Eye frozen pea commercial, they also did the Danacol heart car: http://www.asylumsfx.com/#/work/21

Taking the Pea out of Peel and evacuating all over it perhaps as well. This leads us neatly onto the Birds Eye Bean, thank you. Has a special exhaust that fixes Nitrogen into paper filters which can be composted just like the real thing. Anything to do with the Pulse at all? Not to be confused with a Church Pod, of course, as most are just shells. Almost a Broom Broom. OK I will stop now.

Thanks Mike.
When I asked about the car I didn't realise it was supposed to be a Pea.
I love the two adverts. I wonder why I never saw any of them on the box?
Rob.  ;D

Thanks Al,
I think I understand?  ???

I believe it was inspired by the Outspan Orange Mini, now at NMM, Beaulieu. I do remember seeing the ads, and when I did my first thought was that they had just re-painted the Orange.

Might be an area advertising thing. I seem to recall seeing it but perhaps we do not eat enough peas round here. There were quite a few Outspan Oranges made, was it 9 or 10. There used to be two in Berkhampstead. A whole different class of collecting, the marketing specially fabricated vehicle including bottles, sausages and the PG Tips scale Trojan van for the Chimps and all.
