A bit of a technical question, can anybody tell me if there are any exact features that can identify a Heinkel Ireland shell specifically?
As far as I know, when it comes to three-wheelers, there are basically 3 distinct types, German Heinkels, Irish Heinkels and Trojans (Trojans being all Irish).
So, looking at the shell of my Heinkel Ireland (or whats left of it), are there any features (apart from the VIN plate obviously!) that prove that it is indeed a Irish Heinkel, and not a German Heinkel or a Trojan? I know Trojans had a lot of minor differences, but are there any differences between German and Irish Heinkels?
Also, what is the significant of glass opening quarter-windows? I seem to remember somebody saying about how they mean something, and not all models have them, but I dont remember exactly.
