Does anyone know who this was?
« on: July 16, 2011, 09:27:52 PM »
Hello,

We saw 3 micros earlier, 7:40 pm direction m1 North. We where going south, towing a yellow schmitt, and saw them for a split second going the other way. We think they where all white, and we think there was a KV, goggo couope and a goggo saloon.

Wonder if they saw us? They seemed to be in trafic.

Sorry, forgot to say!

Yes, it was in the UK, we are on holiday, came back from the finnish rally.

We just brought back the yellow schmitt for a restoration, it is not ours. Seems OK condition, but has a few cracks on the bodywork, they must have used Stopper.

I would love to go micro hunting, but sadly we didnt... However, I have the possibility in getting 2 Nobels, quite cheap maybe! One of our friends was offered a Nobel, and he only wants it for the engine, maybe my dad can stirke a deal, then I strike one with my dad, then there is another one, someone asked me how much there worth. Lets hope its not the same guy!

...we think there was a KV....

You've said the magic words which make it difficult for me to focus on the rest of your posting.  Please let me know if anything comes of this.  I'm always happy to learn of another KV and its owner, and to have my contact information passed along as well.
