Scootacar MK2 Rear light lenses - NOS & Boxed -
« on: July 17, 2011, 09:42:24 PM »
Hi All,

First of all, sorry no picture, I can send you one when I am back in France.

I have 2 scootacar mk2 rear light lenses. Boxed, mint and new old stock. There are only the lenses, no metal plate.

What are these worth?
Jonathan

The original lenses for a MkII were handed, where as later examples made by the same company were not.

Fortunately Scootacars were not handed. If they were that would be more to collect and less to go round! My interest is that I am aware of two Scootacars, unrestored, which do not conform to the alleged light rules as I understand them. So either I do not understand them or we need to remove these light units carefully and check out the holes behind and see if these units are original fittings or not. I was looking forward to the aborted Scootacar Rally for this reason amongst many. Thus I repeat the question as I want to get my car bung correct. Bit of a miff if wrong as I have sourced a pair of units, then they will be right for something else.
