Our newest creation...
« on: July 29, 2011, 04:23:43 PM »
Hello,

We have been quite busy (me and my bro) on a Lego model.

I'm sure you know what it is, seeing the wings and camber angle, seems very obvious, especially since everyone wants one (a lot of you I guess?)

Here it is!

the main site does not work either, so it is not your computer Marcus.
you will have to wait until they figure out what is wrong.

Jim, I meant the link to the Lego model, but I just tried it again and it works fine now, cheers anyway!

Jonathan, that TG model is brilliant, look forward to seeing it complete.

Fantastic job so far.  :)  I think getting its bodywork to look anything like how its supposed to look may prove an even bigger challenge than the brilliant work you've achieved on the engine and suspension! I look forward to the finished model.

If you go on http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/246113 its a nobel I made. Not as good though!

The bodywork will be ahrdest. The door and monocoque should be easy, hard bits are the nose and boot, because of all the trim...

excellent work, i cut my teeth on technic lego, it taught me the basics and gave me the interest to go onwards and upwards, achieving a degree in mechanical engineering and to this date, umpteen real cars that i have built for myself and paying customers. to this day, when designing mounting points for coilover shocks, i hark back to my lego days and know the optimal angle/ pivot points etc.. some folk may see just a toy, but technic lego is a valuable learning tool for the budding engineer.  8)

At last, an Adult that understands the fun of it!

That is the second part. It is better now, but as my bro said, we need more parts to continue.

Lego is amazing. They have computer programmed stuff now, very different to the "original" lego that me and my bro have loads off, and the newer stuff can make self balancing segways, just like the real thing, even a remote controlled segway, with the same mecanism, balancing on 2 wheels!
