Has anyone any experience of soda blasting? Can you recommend a company?

Soda stream! We also were duped into buying one of those things, its cheaper to buy pop ready made! Ours didnt explode though.

JP. I'm told its ideal for removing paint from fiberglass bodies, for a steel body I would settle for bead blasting.

No experience, but I happened to be looking at this video yesterday as I was looking into different ways of cleaning grimy bits. If you've got your own compressor, it looks like it has to be worth considering.

Well its also very good for steel, apart from the rust removal. Otherwise, it remioves every speck of paint/filler (if you do it well!) without doing ANY damage to the paint!

Seem to remember that someone at  Beaulieu was demo- ing a soda blaster must have been the last time I went . I 'll look up my old programmes & see if that is more informative .

Hi Bob.
Soda blasting on fibreglass is great.  I bought a small blaster for doing localised fibreglass cleaning and it does the job very well.  Removes all layers of paint back to the gel coat without damage.  Would not like to do a complete body with my Eastwoods blaster as it would take for ever and use a lot of soda.  Ray Dilks had his Frisky body done and it was a great success.

Ray & Jenny won't be at the East Anglian rally this weekend.  They are currently up at my end of he world ready for the start of the Scottish Microcar Club week long touring rally.
