I don't have an opinion on the chat thingy because I would never use it being an old guy! Doesn't posting a message or sending an email much accomplish much the same thing?  What I do have an opinion on is when are we going to see the new look web site? Its well over due!

Rather mirrors my thoughts. I still do not understand why Facebook etc are better than an email. I wish I had never signed up to the blasted site as it heckles me and if I go on offers me loads of information I do not want and cannot get rid off. Total crap. No idea how to get rid of the entire thing off my PC either. It is this same old issue, over complication because it can be done. If I buy a 'phone that is what I want, not a camera or space shuttle controller. A simple 'phone. Not available therefore I have no mobile. I am not putting up with hours of poking little keys designed for miniature people who never get dirty so people can heckle me in the middle of doing something. Send me an email and I will deal with it when I want to. I suspect that is what Chat is. Live Emails. Still an email though. I could go on that all this need for instant contact is why the Western World economy is in trouble. Less pointless rabbit and slipped meetings and more work with set deadlines might help a great deal to get real work done. Bah Humbug!

Ah, that white line right at the bottom, found it!

I have to say it takes a while to load up the chat page, then it takes a while and a few clicks to close it, it would be much quicker just to have an Off Topic thread on the main forum instead of navigating to and from the separate chat page.

Not really into Chat that much myself, but an OT thread would allow us to share a joke or discuss subjects like bikes, trains, planes and boats or other things which many of us are interested in, without clogging up the RUM car area for those that only want to visit the site to read and post about small cars.

I agree Marcus. I think Jonathan is making the mistake of thinking that we are all teenagers with time on our hands and an adiction to gadgetry. Forget the chatroom and finish the website old mate! ;)

I know, I know, I'm totally responsable for it...

I have been busy with another website.

I will send Chris an email asking for the next things to do :)

Mine does calls and texts, photos, HD videos, organiser, calculator, games, music, etc., I can also compose music on it, it also prepares my business accounts does email and most computer functions, I can watch satellite TV and listen to Radio on it from all around the world, and it makes a great Rigatone Alfredo with funghi and extra cheese and paprika in the sauce served with a glass of Chilean Red Wine and a fresh Tiramisu for pud.

Some of the above might not be entirely true.

Hey, who needs a chat room, we can just use this thread!

Those Lego videos are fascinating and very clever, but they can't make my Rigatoni Alfredo!
