IT cannot be a combination because it looks nothing like those that hung on Granny's washing line. Cabin scooter? I have seen pics of several hybrids of this layout, some for cargo some for passengers. One early London Taxi (Vauxhall?) had the passengers in the front cabin, and the driver sat high up at the back trying to get a good view over the roof, apparently quite scary for the passengers as they never knew if the driver had spotted an obstacle or corner. France and Italy both did a few oddities like this. The Bedelia did have a similar layout for occupants (as did quite a number of veteran cars) but was designed from scratch as a complete vehicle (like Inter), rather than being a hybrid of scooter rear, side-car front.
