Isetta engine parts needed
« on: February 22, 2012, 09:31:51 AM »
Hello all,
I'm building up an Isetta engine from parts and sectioning it on my milling machine as a display engine. I need a few parts and wondered if anyone has them spare. I don't mind if the parts are damaged as they may be sectioned and it will never run of course. I need the following:
2 x pushrods, rockers & head bolts, fan, advance mechanism & fixing bolt, domed fan cover, cast bit that clamps the rocker covers in place. I know I have some of these parts somewhere, but I can't find them.   Nick.
Messerschmitt Tiger 500, KR201 roadster, 1955 KR200, 1958 KR200, 1959 KR200, 1964 KR200, Nobel 200, Morgan Super Sports, Goggo Coupe, Isetta 300, Velorex 350, Bond mk D, Lomax.

Dad, you posted this in the wrong topiuc, this should be under "RUMcar Mart", Jim can probably move it.

Anyway, we also need a few more pieces including an Ydral 125 (could be a 175, but I htink its a 125) dynastart side casing.

Thats interesting, I never knew Ydral used a dynastart. Or did you mean the flywheel cover?

Hello Bob,
The Ydral part Jonathan is on about is a magneto flywheel & cover. I was given this siezed motor by a friend who works in a scrap yard here. My plan is  to section it in the future. I'm not sure what it came from, but it has no forced cooling, so must be a bike. If you want me to send you a photo let me know. It may be of use to you before it gets the chop !               Nick.

Could I interest you in half a wedding dress?

Looks like Jim will have to get his little keyboard mounted hammer out.
