Studying for what? His dad has made a success of doing cars, especially micros. If he can know more about them then his Dad and pick up the skills round the cars he has a business to continue. Nothing wrong with old fashioned father to son. Plus Nick gets to have a rocking chair and a running set of cars when he is a wrinkly.

I've got a couple of Nobel 200s with what appears to be their original wiper motors.
Will the pictures of these be helpfull to your quest?

I just went out and checked both my 1959 Nobels.  They both have a Bosh wiper unit.

Hey Rich,

Sorry for the late reply, I somehow missed the message.

I'm pretty sure the correct one is Lucas. I can picture the right one, just not sure if lucas is the make. Its usually wrinkle finish black, with a chrome sort of lever, and a sort of "handle" that hooks into the lever to stop it.

This is the correct type: http://lh3.ggpht.com/_edmzNz99d-o/S9dvyTCefcI/AAAAAAAAAJ4/VxfTwDrVeAU/wiper-motors.jpg

I'm pretty sure that is the only original type. I'll check original photos.

only good pic I have.

Looks the same, but each nobel was different, and some were sold as kits, so got modified, so may have never had an original wiper motor!

Sad fact: This Nobel has unusual interior... Normally has a light grey/off white piece of trim at the front of the seat!
