Hi John,

  No, I havent yet...

Its the villiers 9e.

I'll have to turn the barrel around to fit with the aircooled casing, but then it will have to be a 200 not 250.

I guess you would know, if its the same engine as frisky. Does it use the same black box as a schmitt? Do you have any wiring plans?

Thanks, JP

Well, I needed that stilson pipe wrench to see if it was a sequential or positive stop gearbox ;)

Hammer for removing crank. I would never use any big tools if something is stuck  ;D

I didnt change the insides, I just didnt know how to tell the gearboxes apart unless I actually moved the gearlever! My dad didnt want me to use positive stop, so I had to find a sequential one.

Hehe I usually know how to spell words, its just that I type to fast!

just checked and it's exactly the same as the Gordon but mines still not  made of brass. made by coopers

I feel a comment on Gordons and stationary engines is a bit below the belt.

Surely coopers traditionally make barrels? The modern world is such a complicated place where no one sticks to their trade. Mind you a flick through the 'phone book did not yield a Mr Intake or Mr Filter. There are Mr Carpainters who cannot spell though.

Looks like a trip to a few bike jumbles is needed. Yonks since I went to Stafford, that was the trip to buy the Goggo Coupe now driving with Mike O'Balance. The days you could still buy microcars for £280 and find massed Siba bits in the autojumble! Hey ho.
