Did they ever sell any? For a lot of years, a lot of Micronauts have looked, and so for, nothing!

Mmmm. Electron. Still fancy one of those and while rare they do come up so maybe once I have moved and cleared up a bit that might be looked for. Would not be against a Turner either.

The Electron featured a number of versions through a long availability. As finished items they also covered from atrocious to stunningly effective club racers. In line with the light weight construction they were at their best presented as screamers. Austin Healeys used to run and hide when one of these showed up. Just exactly the kind of car that no longer exists on the market.

Ugly but somewhat endearing, vaguely like that old "Ugly Duckling" Audi in the TV ads. Looks to be beaten aluminium.

perhaps thats the nub of it all !! to be an UNUSUAL microcar it helps if you are ugly and unloved . if you were good looking then perhaps you wouldn't be so UNUSUAL . perhaps RUMS have to be unloved - aaah :'(

Here's a link to a clip from the 1956 film Checkpoint which features glimpses of the Atom (from around the 5:00 minute mark). If you watch to the end, it might explain why none survive today.
