Yes, but those were post-war folk who thought rationed food was, if not ample, at least enough.  But if three average 1950s men fitted in it, two average 2010s probably would just.

So they were made and they are out there. Yet we never see one. Odd. Though all Fairthorpes seem to be very hard to find. Is there a group of people sitting on collections of them or something?

Fairthorpe Atom 1954

One of our friends used to own a Fairthorpe prototype, I showed him that picture and he thinks it was that one!

He said he bought it when he was young, but ended up leaving it in the rented garage, and never saw it since. I guess I wouldnt want to see it again either ;D
