I have not been able to post any photos - it says the allocation is full?

I get all sorts of unusual vehicle photos through from this site.

I have three Invacar rolling chassis.  Looking at the photo of the VW beetle with three wheels made me realise that trying to reunite the chassis with invacar bodies may not be possible.
Certainly not worth making new moulds and doors / fittings etc for such a low value vehicle.

May be worth looking for an alternative body to graft on.  The Beetle looks good but doesn't need the front wings at all - any other suggestions?

Perhaps not original as at least two exist as Reliant based versions round here but mount a small speed boat onto the chassis. Possibly even one of those low powered municipal lake versions. Such a shell could be very cheap.

Find a dead Vespa Ape and 're-adjust' the body? Could even drive from the front of the enclosed van back and have a fake chimp driving - Cannonball Run with Orang-utan like?

Flpperize the front and have a giant Flipper called the Flopper or Flapper depending how dangerous it is?

Shorty Reliant, possibly a bit controversial, there. The Del Baby Van.

Rather than a boat body, how about a body in the shape of a domestic Iron or a hiking boot. Now that would be noval

Some mates are the UK specialists in 'swan boats' - pedal bots that look like swans.  They even have a Reliant enthusiast as one of their laminators, so I'm sure they could come up with a nice swam body for a Reliant chassis!

Though I suppose 'the authorities' might have some objections to a vehicle where the driver had to look around a swan's neck to see some of the road ahead.....

The Swan idea is interesting - could lower the head (like concord) when driving.

And a shoe.........I would show you a picture but I cant get it to upload - Allocation is full?   'The upload folder is full. Please try a smaller file and/or contact an administrator.'

Two good ones there. A big Doc Martin or something could be rather amusing. I have seen a large Clog powered with outboard motor on the Friesland Polders and a great laugh. Could it be an Invacarpet slipper? The swan boat would be a challenge, indeed. Coachwork by Whooper but it kind of mutated, Officer. An articulated neck could have huge potential for fun at shows and things.

I'm not impressed, I've got another foot of space in my boot along with my own personal trainer.

A Shoe shaped Invacar will definately not be unique.  Back to the swan idea I think...........
